About Jeremi

Hey, I'm Jeremi. Thanks for finding me here! Welcome and thank you for reading a bit of my story! While coaching is a professional service, it's also personal. We're going to get to know each other. Really well. 

I'm a wife, stepmom, dog mom, professional, random information junkie, amazing baker, and a big fan of laughing. I'm also in recovery. Aren't we ALL in recovery from something? Alcohol happens to be my thing. It's the thing that brought me here anyways. Along my path to recovery, I've also learned that I'm in recovery from grief, childhood trauma, body/food issues, hustling for my worthiness, lack mentality, workaholism, and I'm sure there is more any given day.  I say all that to say- I get you. I see you. I hear you. You matter.

My recovery journey included inpatient treatment followed by intensive outpatient in the beginning. It looks a bit different now as I've developed my own patchwork of recovery-  therapy, learning, community, volunteering, rest, coloring and baking (yes, I'm owning that). While the 12 Steps are a beautiful thing and have worked for SO many people, I found it wasn't for me. And it might not be for you either, that's ok!

As I've learned to let go of the shame around my story, I've realized that everyone has a story. I love listening and asking questions, it's why I studied social work and am a Masters Level Therapist. Learning about how and why others think the way they do has helped me become a successful counselor at a substance use treatment center and experienced in crisis work. That's why I became an internationally certified coach- to weave my personal and professional experience together while serving and empowering others. I believe we ALL have power inside ourselves.
